Artist's Description
Meet Francis, a Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) and ambassador animal with the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. Kicked out of his nest by his parents with lung and vision problems, Francis was taken in by the Audubon Center in Maitland, Florida, and became an educational ambassador, helping people connect with the natural environment and our national symbol. Here he is, screaming at me. Well, me and everyone around him.
About Michael Allard
I've been taking pictures since I was ten. I lost my eyesight in my left eye a couple of years ago and was afraid my photography days were over. Turned out to be wrong on that front, and my pictures have never been better. I specialize in nature photograph but dabble in memorials and other work as well.
