Artist's Description
This is Francis, an American Bald Eagle and ambassador animal working with the good people at the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey in Maitland, Florida. Francis was kicked out of his nest at a young age and developed eyesight problems as well as a lung deficiency. As he couldn't care for himself in the wild, Francis was raised by Audubon and became an ambassador, teaching the people of Central Florida and beyond about his species.
About Michael Allard
I've been taking pictures since I was ten. I lost my eyesight in my left eye a couple of years ago and was afraid my photography days were over. Turned out to be wrong on that front, and my pictures have never been better. I specialize in nature photograph but dabble in memorials and other work as well.
