The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I've been taking pictures since I was ten. I lost my eyesight in my left eye a couple of years ago and was afraid my photography days were over. Turned out to be wrong on that front, and my pictures have never been better. I specialize in nature photograph but dabble in memorials and other work as well.
